Speaking Testimonials

I left Stacey’s Use Your Voice seminar with a new awareness of my voice. I’m outspoken, not quiet. Stacey’s stories helped me realize that some people may be negatively impacted if I talk over them or shut down their ideas. Although others may not be as outspoken as I am, I can, in my leadership role, encourage them to share their ideas and be heard.

After hearing Stacey’s Use Your Voice to Make a Difference presentation, I felt more confident introducing myself at a networking event. Her presentation was friendly and easy going. Stacey’s personal experience with overcoming public speaking fear made the message believable. I also liked how she connected public speaking to making a difference in other people’s lives.

– B.C., Financial Services Professional

I want to thank you for speaking at our event about the power of creating strong connections. I learn something each time I hear you speak. I loved how you incorporated the headstand into trusting and committing to the alliances you make. They can make you feel more comfortable, and benefit you for a long time. I hope to become as confident in a room as you are when speaking with a group.

– M. Dunphy, South Coastal Bank

Before attending Stacey’s presentation skills workshop, I never felt confident or comfortable speaking in public. During her session Stacey shared tips and strategies, then asked for volunteers to speak, allowing them to practice what they just learned. I realized the only ways to improve your public speaking are to (1) IMPLEMENT what you learn from seminars, and (2) PRACTICE. As a result of Stacey’s workshop I joined my local chapter of Toastmasters. I referenced the notes I took during Stacey’s workshop before giving my first speech and received great feedback!

– N.P., Financial Advisor

Thank you again for speaking at our Adult Learning Conferences. Your keynote speeches on making healthy choices were inspiring and very well received. The feedback from your breakout session was overwhelmingly positive, too. It was wonderful to work with you and I hope to do so again in the future.

– Jill Casey, Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts

Thanks so much for your workshop on creating strong connections. We received very positive feedback from everyone. The techniques and relaxation exercises to deal with stress were great! Also beneficial were the brainstorming ideas and the ways you shared with us of thinking outside of the box a bit to help with networking and relationship building. Your book is a great resource and a good way to reinforce what we learned.

Stacey spoke to my high school students about public speaking on two occasions and they loved her. She not only offered my students tips and information on speaking before a group, but she offered valuable information on how to physically relax and mentally prepare. She has this special gift of genuinely connecting with people. – M.F. North Quincy High School

Stacey has spoken to my Boston Marathon runners many times during the last decade and I consider her the ultimate resource and role-model for healthy living. I regularly have guest speakers at my weekly training and Stacey is the benchmark by which I gauge everyone else. She is the most well-spoken, knowledgeable and enthusiastic speaker I’ve had in 15 years of coaching. Stacey sets the bar extremely high.

– Rick Muhr, Head Coach, The Marathon Coalition

The day after attending Stacey’s stress relief workshop I went to my doctor. He told me my blood pressure was lower than he’d ever seen it. I told him about the workshop, and he said “Keep doing what you’re doing!” Thank you so much!
